Your local law enforcement is asking for help in providing children in the Heber Valley with a little extra for Christmas! 

Throughout the year, our local officers and deputies come across many of those who really could use some help in life. As a result, we have, for many years, held an annual “Shop with a Cop” event in December. This year our goal is to help provide an extra special Christmas for 40 children. If possible, we need your help in the form of monetary donations for Christmas gifts. 

On December 11th, officers will meet the children involved at the Homestead in Midway for breakfast. From there, we’ll travel to Walmart in patrol vehicles, lights and sirens going, to shop together. After the gifts are purchased, the kids’ gifts, some of which are for parents and siblings, are wrapped for Christmas. 

Our local officers have loved being involved in Shop with a Cop over the years. For many, it’s the highlight of the year. It is a very rewarding experience for both the kids and the officers!
