Each week, the Hammerton hot glass shop fabricates over seven tons of the highest quality Swedish crystal glass known for its clarity and refractive qualities. Their highly skilled team of hot glass artisans melt this glass in large furnaces to temperatures above 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and then blow and cast the molten glass into visually intriguing shapes. Most Hammerton Studio glass designs reflect the combined talents of their glass and metal fabrication teams as they design, engineer & fabricate all of their glass jigs and tooling in-house. This allows them to create unusual geometric and organic designs that simply can't be found anywhere else.
